Chemical Name: N-[3-(1-methylethoxy)phenyl]-2-(trifluoromethyl)benzamide
Formula: C17H16F3NO2
Molecular Weight: 323.3
CAS No.: 66332-96-5
Appearance: Odorless colorless crystals.
Melting Point: 102-103°C.
Vapour Pressure: 1.8mPa(20°C).
Stability: Soluble in water 1mg/L at 20°C.
Specification: 98%TC, 20%WP, 50%WP
Uses: Flutolanil is a systemic benzanilide fungicide. It specifically inhibits the succinate dehydrogenase complex of Basidiomycetes but not those of fungi of other classes. Succinate dehydrogenase is an iron–sulfur protein that is an integral part of the inner mitochondrial membrane and a key element in the electron transport chain of mammals. Flutolanil has not been evaluated previously by JMPR.
