Glycine (abbreviated as Gly or G) is an organic compound with the formula NH2CH2COOH. Having a hydrogen substituent as its side-chain, glycine is the smallest of the 20 amino acids commonly found in proteins. Its codons are GGU, GGC, GGA, GGG of the genetic code.

Uses:

For food grade:

Mainly used as nutrition supplement and food additive to improve flavor, used as buffer and  regulator in beverage and alcoholic beverage, also used as additive in sauce, syrup and pickled food, as stabilizer in cream, margarine, noodle and flour;

For Medicine grade:

1.Mainly used as nutrient solution for transfusion, antiacid agent and Vc stablizer;

2.Used as medicine intermediates;

3.Used as materials for cosmetics;

For Feed Grade:

Mainly used as feed additive

For Industry Grade:

1. As intermediates for pesticide

2. Mainly applied in organic synthesis and metal complex

3. Use as PH regulator
