Uses: carboxin is used for prevention and control of wheat leaf rust, bean rust, barley scattered smut, cotton fusarium wilt and verticillium wilt. To treat seed with 0.5%-0.8% carboxin (For seed dressing, use 20% emulsified oil 500-1000ml every 100kg seed). It is useful to prevent Chinese sorghum, millet and maize from filar smut with low use level. For instance, only 6-7g is used for each mu seed when you dress Chinese sorghum seed. It is not toxic to person and livestock. It has no chemical harm to cereal. But it is reported that it has a slight chemical harm to cotton. Also it could be used as a wood preservative.
